Our Trustees care - They all donate to our causes

CAMEO-Aid is wholly dependent on you, its donors, for the resources to relieve suffering, poverty and deprivation of those less fortunate than us, in Africa. In order to attract and keep your support we have drawn up this charter, setting out how we will deal with you and respect your wishes.   In the unlikely event that you may feel that we are not complying with this charter we have added details of how you can raise your concerns with us.

Please note that a donor communication which contains a concern or complaint, is automatically referred to the Trustees.

We welcome your donations and we undertake that:

• we will deal with you courteously and properly at all times and in the manner you wish;
• we will determine your wishes with regards to donations;
• your donation will be used for the project for which it was requested or which you specified
• we will acknowledge your donation promptly;
• should you desire it, we will publicly acclaim your support and seek publicity for it,
• we will respect your privacy and comply at all times with the requirements of the Data Protection Act;
• we will keep you informed of the progress of the project your donation supports, and
• relate to you the thanks and comments of the beneficiaries, on the difference to their lives that the project has made;
• if for any reason we are unable to fulfill your specific wishes regarding your donation we will discuss with how else we may apply those funds;
• where you donations are to support a student, or students, in education will keep you informed of their progress; and
• that if possible, and if you so wish, we will engage you in the process of their selection;
• we will keep you informed of the progress of CAMEO-Aid generally,
• we will make available to you, if you so wish, the annual accounts and Trustee reports of CAMEO-Aid.
